Artist Statement:
Light and its effect on objects of nature fascinate me. Repetition of patterns, textures and color epitomize the beauty of nature. One of my goals is to express myself through evocative art.
Influences:
Major art influences are the Impressionists, particularly Monet. Other influences include my father, teachers and many other artists.
My work has been displayed in quilt shows, a local art gallery and framing shop, four ARTifacts shows at the Maturango Museum, Ridgecrest, and two collaborative shows, also at the Maturango. In 2022 I was selected for a three week artist residency in Orquevaux France. In addition, custom cards and small gifts are given to friends and their families.

General meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6.30pm (unless it falls on a holiday, then we meet on the second Monday) from September through May. Guests are welcome. There is no charge to attend the first time.
